A group of strangers unites in an effort to escape bloodthirsty radical Christian cult members loose in the subway on a rampage fueled by righteous fervor in this apocalyptic slasher film that's unapologetically raunchy and sacrilegious.

Something seems amiss after Karen is plagued by disturbing dreams and her co-worker jumps in front of a subway train. Taking the subway home after a long hospital shift, her premonitions are confirmed when the beepers carried by a group of mild-mannered commuters go off, a signal to them from their evangelical leader to "save" non-believers -- by stabbing them with their cross-shaped daggers -- before the imminent day of reckoning. The sudden chaos sends Karen, a frisky young couple and a host of others to flee the dark and claustrophobic tunnels together. But what if the brainwashed zealots aren't wrong and their cross-shaped daggers are the least of the ragtag group's problems? Slyly lampooning religious extremist "zombies" without skimping on genuinely terrifying scares, End of the Line nimbly balances its campy humor with some masterfully executed jolts and impressive special effects that will leave you thinking twice about taking the Market/Frankford line home after the screening.
