If you are thinking this plot sounds like the latest Adam Sandler comedy, think again. Gordon's documentary, while often very funny, also shows a touching human side of video game obsession. Wiebe's trials and tribulations are worthy of comparisons to Chariots of Fire, and paired with nail-biting game competitions and a cast of hysterical side characters, they make The King of Kong a pure gaming sensation for the whole family.
